The John Jay School of Diplomacy and International Affairs was established as an independent academic unit within the Euclid University Consortium and it is under the direct supervision of EUCLID (Euclid University), an intergovernmental organization.

Euclid and the School are placed under the High Stewardship of H.E. Ambassador E. Touaboy with Vince Sinning as Principal Faculty.

Its mission is to serve governmental staff (notably for EUCLID Participating States) and to prepare students for internships and careers at the United Nations and other intergovernmental bodies.

A Unique Link to the Diplomatic Community

At the United Nations HQ

Left:
V. Sinning as UN Mission Advisor

Center:
K.H. Note,
President of the Republic of the Marshall Islands

Right:
V. N. Clodumar,
Ambassador of the Republic of Nauru to the UN

Because of its privileged relationship with EUCLID, the International Organization for Sustainable Development and on account of the positions held by our Faculty Members and High Steward, the John Jay School of Diplomacy enjoys and maintains a unique link to the diplomatic community including foreign Ministries of Foreign Affairs.

This relationship provides a continuous exchange of people and ideas between the School and United Nations member states, especially developing and least-developed nations.

This synergy provides an active link to the UN system, the diplomatic community, non-governmental organizations and global business.

Students are encouraged to interact with policymakers and practitioners, exposing them to ongoing opportunities to enhance professional growth and development.
